Given the often grim circumstances surrounding rescues, I thought it might be fun (and /or therapeutic) to just have a whole page dedicated to them actually just lying around or having fun! Many of these dogs have never been able to just enjoy themselves and in many cases have never been around another dog of a similar breed, much less their own breed. There is a tremendous amount of breed recognition in all of these working breeds. Not all of the dogs on this page are rescues: some are our own dogs or other's dogs who reside with us. And this photo below shows no dogs at all, only sheep. Our livestock guardians are smart enough to get out of the way when the lambs start getting silly and having their nightly races :-)
